Just so you know, Homer doesn't say anything. The ad is misleading. The "sayings" are merely printed on the outside of the tin box.

I don't currently have a jack-in-the-box to compare this one to but I think it is of somewhat inferior quality. Maybe I expect too much but I could swear that the ones I played with as a child were more sturdy.

The tune being played is supposed to be the theme song for the Simpsons, though I can't tell. That is my biggest complaint about this item. Also, the sound is rather faint.

I don't think they should charge much more than $5.00 for this item.
